MY INNER ME
“we're right where we should be
we're not outsiders anymore
Me and my inner inner me
Im in my nature safe at shore”
Anat Porat is releasing her new song My Inner Me.
This song was written about a crucial moment a few years ago,
when Anat felt she had met her inner self, and all her doubts were pushed aside.
Since that moment, Anat returned to her musical path,
with recordings, performing and forming an international music-poetry project.
The musical production and the arrangement of the song,
as well as the album as a whole is done by Daniel Wisman.
The vocals and acoustic guitars are in the heart of the song,
accompanied by Viola, Glockenspiel, percussion, double bess
and b-vocals by Anat’s daughter Shira Porat Pariente.
The release of Concealing - the album version is accompanied
by a one -shot live session video as well, filmed in Jaffa.

My inner me
Spending hours with a stranger
After wandering the streets
Climbing up a thousand steps
Who will I end up meet?
Across the table in your eyes
Over chocolate cake and tea
Holding silence in our hands
Are you the inner me?
Floating in between the time
Falling in and out of sleep
I'm erasing all the lines
This is a moment that ill keep
We're right where we should be
We're not outsiders anymore
Me and my inner inner me
I'm in my nature safe at shore
You still sit there with your cake
As I smile you see
How we get up and leave
Me and my inner inner me
Across the table in your eyes
Over chocolate cake and tea
We held the silence in our hands
And I met my inner me.
